2025 Small Cinema Collection RE: PLAY

The slogan of this special exhibition was "RE: PLAY”
To express this concept, the motion poster direction proposed by designer Min Dongin was carried directly into the website experience.

Each visual element used in the poster was separated and then reorganized to fit the structure and layout of the web. In particular, within the spatial limitations of mobile environments, the theater names were designed not as fixed lists but as flowing text moving naturally across the screen. The ticket element at the bottom was also staged to appear gradually through scrolling, initially remaining partially hidden from view.

When thinking about the word “play,” it felt natural to associate it with the shape of a play button. Based on this idea, the landing page displayed the mouse cursor in the form of a play icon. Alongside the main landing page, the Pairing Program page — one of the distinctive features of this exhibition — was also designed and developed. A table of contents was added at the top to allow quick navigation between sections.

The overall Pairing Program page used patterned background elements to move away from conventional rectangular layouts. By arranging elements so that they appeared slightly scattered or subtly overlapping, the design aimed to create a more fluid and dynamic atmosphere.
